Maxx Group came to Blackbird for help with their new e-commerce website. This digital experience was expected to match that of global brands like Diesel and G-Star Raw.
The website was expected to integrate perfectly with the e-commerce platform to manage stock on real-time basis. Moreover, we were asked to build custom pages that matched the specific needs of a category.
Data was another important component that would have to be fed to products in order to power the functionalities that users would need in modern commerce - i.e. filtering, size guides, cross-selling, up-selling and more.
Under time pressure, we were required to build an e-commerce platform that utilized the Wordpress CMS structure and Elementor.
Our goal was to create a responsive and functional website that can easily be updated without necessarily knowing code. In addition, our team used PHP, Javascript and CSS to influence themes and plugins within Wordpress.
We anticipated that an average of 95% of all website traffic will come from mobile devices. Our team worked hard to create a mobile experience that would yield great bounce rates, high levels of engagement, and encourage revisits in the future.
